Description of use

Mindpeak Breast Ki-67 4R is intended for in vitro diagnostic use as an aid to the pathologist in the assessment of samples from human breast cancer patients. Image analysis consists of the detection and classification of IHC stained tumor cells within whole
slide images and identification of up to four tumor regions of interest according to the global scoring method. Tumor cells are classified as not-stained (tumor negative) or stained (tumor positive).

Two corresponding global scores are provided:
1) The global unweighted score depends on the proliferation scores of each region of interest and the total number of tumor cells in each region.
2) The global weighted score depends on the proliferation scores and weights of all regions of interest.
