Description of use

This application employs an artificial intelligence (AI)–based decision‑support system designed for high‑accuracy and high‑precision detection of mitotic figures in tumor histopathology. The algorithm processes the entire set of hematoxylin and eosin (H&E)–stained glass slides, ensuring comprehensive tumor assessment rather than reliance on a limited, manually selected region. Using a predefined, deterministic search strategy, the system identifies 10 contiguous high‑power fields (HPFs) with the highest mitotic density and additionally provides up to seven ranked sets of 10 HPFs, ordered by mitotic count, to support reproducibility and reviewer verification.
