The product is an AI (artificial intelligence) driven in-vitro diagnostic (IVD) software intended to assist pathologists in the review of hematoxylin and eosin (H&E)-stained prostate needle biopsies and transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP) specimen histopathology slides. The software provides annotations indicating regions where the device has detected various types of clinical findings and technical artefacts. The pathologists must review the generated annotations with original images before making a final determination on a case. The device is an adjunct tool and does not replace the role of the pathologists.
