MSIntuit CRC is a software intended for pathology laboratories that predicts
whether or not a tumor has the MSS phenotype for patients with primary
colorectal cancer. The user can interact with the software either through the
image management system (IMS), interfaced with the software, or directly with a
shared directory.
The input data is a digitized histological slide image file obtained by scanning the
physical slide. The result of the analysis is presented in a report that includes the
sample identification, the analysis result (MSS-AI or Undetermined), the date and
time of the analysis and additional information about the analysis. The software
result can be used by the pathologist and/or oncologist to guide their decision
making regarding the therapeutic strategy.
