Diadeep’s HER2 Algorithm, part of the KWANT suite, automates precise quantification of tumor cells on immunostained slides. It detects invasive tumors without user annotations, analyzing cells within these tumors using AI. This allows for identification of tumor cells, assessing membrane completeness and intensity. The comprehensive analysis provides pathologists with an interpretable HER2 Score (0, 1+, 2+, 3+) according to 2018 ASCO/CAP guidelines. This fully automatic algorithm, applicable on whole slide images, enhances response time and reduces variability in challenging cases by offering detailed quantification.
