Aiosyn Mitosis Breast is an AI-powered solution to aid pathologists with the identification of mitotic figures in breast biopsies and resections. Its deep-learning-based algorithm allows pathologists to save time and provides a more standardized process for laboratories. H&E slides are prepared as usual, and the algorithm detects mitotic figures across the slide once uploaded to the platform.
In a clinical performance study that involved 28 pathologists from 9 different countries, 75% of participating pathologists were faster when supported by Aiosyn Mitosis Breast (publication pending). On average, pathologists showed a 15.5% increase in productivity when reviewing resections. Additionally, the algorithm led to a 32.6% improvement in consistency between pathologists.
