cNeuro® cMRI

Description of use

cNeuro® cMRI takes T1 and FLAIR images as input and computes information about atrophy and lesion load. cMRI can be used to support the detection of dementias, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, traumatic brain injury and epilepsy. Using the T1 sequence, 135 brain regions are segmented, volumes and percentiles are computed and compared against a normative database of > 10,000 healthy controls. In addition, some specific biomarkers such as the anterior-posterior atrophy index (API), medial temporal lobe atrophy (MTA) score, global cortical atrophy score (GCA), midbrain-pons ratio and callosal angle are computed from T1. If a FLAIR sequence is provided, lesion load is computed, again with comparison to normal. If the patient has a prior MRI study, cNeuro® cMRI computes longitudinal change in atrophy and lesions. Results are summarized in PDF-reports.

cNeuro® is integrated with the Sectra PACS and reports and labelled volumes are sent back to PACS.
