Description of use

SlideRightQA is a software solution that is intended to assess the quality of whole slide images (WSI’s). By leveraging AI, SlideRIghtQA automatically evaluates the quality of digital slides, identifying image artifacts. SlideRightQA is intended to increase the efficiency and to automate the quality assurance of digital slide images. SlideRIghtQA provides insights for identifying quality issues and for improving quality of the lab processes.

The primary users of SlideRightQA are scanning technicians and laboratory personnel responsible for preparing and scanning pathology slides. Pathologists and other healthcare professionals, like the lab management and QA responsible person, may also use the software to review the quality assessments and ensure that only high quality images are used for diagnostic purpose

How is the application integrated?

• Application can be launched from Sectra's pathology image window: No; SlideRightQA receives a trigger when a new image is available and needs to be processed, running through automated quality control
• Results will be shown in Sectra's pathology image window: Yes : Overlays with detected quality issues can be visualized in the pathology image window
